International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day

Today, we pause to celebrate you.

Not just for what you do, but for who you are.

You are strong. You are resilient. You are courageous in ways the world does not always see or acknowledge. You carry burdens with grace, love fiercely without condition, rise after every setback, and show up day after day for your family, your community, and yourself. That is no small thing. That is extraordinary.

To every Black woman reading this we see you. Your strength runs deep, rooted in generations of women who endured, persisted, and triumphed against odds that were never fair.

You are creative, powerful, and magnetic. Your culture, your voice, your beauty inside and out are gifts to this world. You have always been more than enough, and today we want you to know that without any qualification. You are intelligent. You are intuitive. You lead with both your mind and your heart.

To every woman who has ever doubted herself, felt unseen, or carried her pain quietly, we honour your journey. Strength is not the absence of struggle. It is choosing to keep going, and you do that every single day.

At MyLurah, we do not take lightly the trust you have placed in us. You have welcomed us into your health journey, your questions, your concerns, and your desire to live better and that means everything to us. We are here because of you, and we are committed to growing with you.

Our deepest wish for you today and every day is, may you be celebrated, may you be well, may you be free to take up all the space you deserve, and may you grow stronger with every passing year.

Happy International Women’s Day, from all of us at MyLurah.

We see you. We celebrate you. We are grateful for you.

With love and appreciation from MyLurah 🌸

At Mylurah we’re building a digital platform that centers Black women’s reproductive journeys, including culturally sensitive support for Period, Pregnancy and Postpartum. Because representation in care isn’t optional, it’s essential.
